Backflow Preventer Testing
Annual forward-flow and performance testing of the backflow prevention assembly on the fire service line, with the certificate your water authority requires.
The backflow preventer on a fire sprinkler supply protects the public water system, so it answers to two rules at once: NFPA 25 for the fire side and the local water authority for the potable side. Most authorities require an annual test by a certified tester and a certificate on file. We test the assembly, file the paperwork, and keep the date on your calendar.
What is included
- Annual performance test of the backflow assembly
- Forward-flow test at system demand per NFPA 25
- Test certificate filed with the water authority where required
- Valve, strainer and relief-valve condition check
- Coordination with the sprinkler inspection so one visit covers both
What you receive
A completed test certificate, the forward-flow test record, and the next-due date on your compliance calendar.
