Testing & Maintenance
Functional testing proves a system will work. Maintenance keeps it that way. We do both, and we document both.
Inspection tells you a system is present. Testing tells you it performs. Maintenance is the work that keeps it performing between tests. Each has its own frequency in the standard, and each produces a record an inspector will ask to see.
What is included
- Annual, semi-annual and quarterly fire alarm testing
- Sprinkler flow tests, main drain tests, valve exercising and trip tests
- Fire pump churn and annual flow testing
- Extinguisher service, hydrostatic testing and recharge
- Kitchen suppression semi-annual service and fusible link replacement
- Backflow preventer testing
- Emergency lighting 30-second monthly and 90-minute annual tests
- Generator load testing and transfer-switch exercising
What you receive
A test record per system with measured values, pass/fail per device, and the maintenance performed, signed and dated.

Can you take over a building mid-cycle?
Yes. We start by collecting whatever records exist, build the frequency matrix for the building, and identify what is overdue. From there you are on schedule.
